Folkwang University of the Arts (Essen/Duisburg, Germany)

 

offers excellent Bachelor and Master programs (performance and pedagogical), as well as specialized courses (BA and MA) on Early Music, Contemporary Music and Chamber Music. In this short video you can meet the teaching staff of the Folkwang Early Music department. Since the winter semester 2024/2025, I teach the recorder class. * Applications for winter semester 2027/28 should be submitted by 15th of March 2027 at the latest (Bachelor and Master). Please note that applications for summer semester 2027 are only possible for the Master program (in that case the deadline for submission is 15th of November 2026).

 

NB. In order to avoid time-consuming efforts and unnecessary travel costs, the practical application at Folkwang University consists of two parts. After approval of a short video, an invitation will be issued for a live presentation on location. The Campus Duisburg building is located at ca. 5 minutes walking distance from Duisburg Main Station (train).
